French Dressing Recipe

In the past I've struggled to find a good French Dressing Recipe but now I know that as much as the recipe is important, so is the order in which you mix it.

There are many variants to French dressing but here is my favorite.

Method

1. Place all the ingredients apart from the oil in a mixing bowl. It is important that the oil is added after all the other ingredients as otherwise it won't all mix together properly.
   
   
2. Mix well.
   
   
3. Add the oil a tablespoon at a time and mix well after each addition using a small hand whisk.
   
   
4. Pour into a storage bottle or lidded pot and shake before each use. The vinaigrette should keep for 4 - 6 weeks outside the fridge.
