Advanced and Intermediate French Language Coursess

"An intermediate French Language qualification
can help you get the job you want"

-- Intermediate French Language --

So I imagine that you've already got a basic grounding of French and now you wish to consider an intermediate or more advanced French language course.

Most French courses are geared towards the beginner but at the same time there are also some excellent courses for those wishing to improve their existing French.

Teach Yourself Courses

Champs-Elysées advanced French language program Champs Elysee is probably one of the best known advanced to intermediate French language conversation courses around.

Each month you receive an hour-long audio program (on CD or cassette), a magazine, and an optional study supplement. The monthly programs cover topics such as politics, sports, travel, and literature. You also get a magazine containing a word-for-word printed transcript of the program.

What I was also impressed with was the extra support you get from their discussion forum which not only covers the learning French aspect but also French culture, daily life and interesting snippets of information.

TELL ME MORE Language Software Tell Me More is renowned for its language learning speech recognition technology software. It is also the most jam packed program that I have come across and will certainly have something for everyone. It is not your cheapest package but then it is the most comprehensive.

linguaphone Linguaphone offer 2 types of courses for the non-beginner. Firstly there is Daily French which is a subscription based online resource of French newspaper cuttings, radio and TV news clips so you can see and hear the language in everyday use. Exercises are included and they will really help you to zoom ahead with your vocabulary.

Secondly there is their Second Stage French course which is for those wanting to perfect their written and oral skills. This course includes CD's and books. The course shows the everyday life of a French family, in a number of situations which provide examples of different levels of language (both written and spoken), as well as different topics and related vocabulary.
